Choosing items can be difficult, but sometimes, what you end up selecting can be based off of bias, or preference.
Biases are natural human behaviors that are based upon individual preference. For example, you like only Big Macs at McDonalds, and you mom gives you the option of a Big Mac or McChicken, you will most likely choose the Big Mac.
But do we hold our biases for almost every item? We could have a preference for a certain food item, but that necessarily mean that we'll choose it?
And how can we explain the times when we end up choosing something that we don't like, such as doing homework when it's a nice sunny day outside?
In this experiment, you will test if individuals hold biases based on certain food preferences.
